Posted by Marcia Beachy, MS, LPC, CCHT on February 12, 2015 Here in the winter months, we may look forward to warmth and the longer days of light. Winter wants our attention, however. It wants to take us down into the crevasses where the roots are still very much alive and the subconscious is growing all things "good and bad" for our dynamic life. It is a time to honor the inner worlds. For many, the desire to be Light, to be a healer, to be uplifting to others means denying the very gifts the shadow self has to offer. The part that eats/drinks/smokes/indulges too much, or is grumpy/judgmental/sad/angry/lost, etc. may be very important to you. That which is hidden, that which we judge as imperfect and unacceptable in our nature (or someone else's nature!) has a story to tell and demands to be a part of our wholeness. Rather than keep pushing away this "negative side" that pulls at our edges, why not invite it in?
In this workshop we will safely uncover the light within the shadow side of ourselves. We will find the gifts and apply the process to our world and relationships so that we are more whole and at peace. Bring your journal or writing material. Wear comfortable clothes. Snacks provided. DATE: Saturday, March 7, 2015 TIME: 10:00 a.m. - 1 p.m. PLACE: 4229 Crestview Drive, Pueblo, CO 81008 (Marcia's home) FEE: $55.00 Comments are closed.
